Storm Chaser popped by Lighting on Video
Storm chaser Scott Sheppard gets hit by lightning while shooting video out the window near Fairburn, South Dakota. The strike hit his arm and then traveled down to the ground and blew a hole in the pavement. The lightning also disabled his vehicle and a passing car, both of which had to be towed.

With lightning its the luck of the draw. Ive seen 5 identically wired banks of equipment get zapped and 4 were roasted and one not touched.

I was at a drive-in movie and lighting hit our speaker pole,
its been over 30 years ago, so I don't recall details. But the driver which took the majority of the blast, wasn't harmed nor the car. I actually think the speaker was still working, as we finished the movie.

I don't know about that one...

My son and I were traveling in a car that got hit by lightning. It was the brightest white imaginable. It seemed like it was five minutes in the brightness of it. We looked at each other, eyes wide and thought it was the end for sure. Neither one of us were hurt in any way though, thank God!
