Some of the worlds finest human instruments of warfare are looking for him and his buddies.

If Chomsky is such an intellectual, why does he avoid the matter of 9/11 being an inside job?

My take on it is that is he simply doesn't want to risk the following he's built on what is still considered in many circles as speculation. After all, we're taking about an MIT guy who strives to be empirical with his claims. He's attacked enough as it is by the rabid right for all the damage he's caused them. He deserves a medal for that alone. I give him a pass on subjects he's avoided, such as theories about 9/11. There are others with more of a focus concerning that specific matter anyway.
