I understand your position but have to agree with the other guys who know you don't stand a chance against the mega machine built to grind you down to a useless stub.

I worked as a grill cook back when we still had mom & pop restaurants. It gets hot, greasy and dangerous but you just do your best to earn that little bit of money they begrudgingly pay you. Finding a better job somewhere else is your best bet.

The doctor will never link your diagnoses to your 16 day stint without a working ventilator hood. On the off chance he/she does, it could take years before you get a decision.
