my2centsworth User ID: 59775523 ![]() 07/15/2014 01:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Quoting: Cavaignac An urgent expedition will leaves tomorrow to probe a giant crater that has appeared in gas-rich northern Siberia. Extraordinary aerial images show a mysterious hole which experts say may be up to 262 feet wide, in the Yamal Peninsula of northern Russia. 'A scientific team has been sent to investigate the hole and is due to arrive at the scene on Wednesday,' The Siberian Times has reported. The cause of the hole's sudden appearance in Yamal - which translates as 'the end of the world' - in the far north of Siberia is not yet known. There has been web speculation about the crater indicating 'the arrival of a UFO craft'. But one Russian expert says the cause is more likely to be global warming releasing gases under the surface, which then explode like a champagne cork. Experts say that the darkening around the inner rim of the crater indicates 'severe burning' which scorched its edges. Very interesting and odd.... Will be keeping my ears to the ground, to find out what the expedition of scientists say about this. For now, we are on the outside looking in, and don't know what is happening... In time, we'll know. Thanks for sharing OP ![]() |

Quoting: Rabid Wolf It couldn't have anything to do with the natural gas mining operation in that area... I suggested the warming also on my forum.. its logical in fact.. whatever that is.. something INSIDE blew out and apparently there was some fire involved… So now global warming is causing perfectly round circles of underground gas explosions??????????? I am not a geologist but no, not global warming. |

I suggested the warming also on my forum.. its logical in fact.. whatever that is.. something INSIDE blew out and apparently there was some fire involved… I don't deny that a heating of the soil above a large pocket of natural gas liquefying the permafrost could cause such a hole, but what caused the ignition of the methane to cause the burning? Auto ignition for methane is 580-degrees(C)(1076-degrees (F) and I am fairly sure that Siberia hasn't warmed up that much. Theoretically, if lightning struck a thin vein of coal at the surface, it could have eventually burned down to the methane pocket igniting it. It will be interesting to see what they discover when they get there. Last Edited by Rabid Wolf on 07/15/2014 01:53 PM |

Even though the wording is sort of crude and approximate as all speculations are, that pic does look like some force exploded outward. (or a little gnomelike man with a shovel worked very hard to find a lost h.s. ring). |

Krispy71 User ID: 39765605 ![]() 07/15/2014 02:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes WATER is in the bottom : Helicopter pilots have discovered mysterious giant crater in the Yamal Peninsula, Russia, close to the largest Yamal gas reserve. A powerful underground stream is heard from the bottom. chopper pilots, working for a gas company operating in the area, flew over a giant crater going deep into the ground in July 2014. The cave-in is in a remote area and is surrounded by forest. Its size is so huge that people may come down into it on several Mi-8 helicopters. This mysterious giant crater hole is situated 30 km apart from Bovanenkovo gas field. No explosive works had been carried out in the area. More here: ... spam/2014/07/mysterious-sinkhole-giant-crater-discovered-on-yamal-peninsula-russia-video.html xxxK I think the option of a 'gas build-up' makes a lot of sense coz of what it looks like at the top [see video] > Fresh earth pushed up instead of having crumbled off like with real sink-holes. It looks like a blow-out instead of a cave-in to me. And YES there have been gas-mining works ongoing in the neighbourhood area. xxxK |

Krispy71 User ID: 39765605 ![]() 07/15/2014 02:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not all articles address it as such ! I agree that blaming everything what happens to GW is BS. But Earth is in a changing-modus that goes together with changes on every body in our solar-system which is part of a big CYCLE in this part of our Galaxy. Wheels within wheels :) The Earth IS warming up, not BECOZ OF C02 but becoz the inner core-dynamo is slowing speed which allows more heat to surface, more magma to rise, more gasses to form, more water to surface from deep in the strata, etc ... The slowing down core results in/goes together with a weakening of the magnetic field. Which all results in a diversity of alterations in chemical bonds and fases in pretty much everything. PLUS, we travel [as a solar-system] trough a more excited and more charged [particles and plasma] area in the Galactic plane and in space. Those 2 things from the inside-out [core] and from the out-side in [space] manifest in the changes we see recently. They have been happening in cycles every so many thousands of years. Our emissions of gas and smoke and industrial waste is NOT responsible for those manifestations ! Back in times of the dino's and Mammoths the Co2-levels were twice or tripple as high as today !!! ...lol... Maybe back then the animals were taxed on how much they farted hahahahaha ... xxxK |
