With rising tensions, or so we are being told, between Russia and the US, what if it was a warning shot from a space based weapon. The US or NATO pops Siberia and Vlad pops Florida. Probably way too far out there. It is what popped in my head when I saw the first one. |

Not sure why ABC used a photo from a previous sinkhole in FL... but the one in Spring Hill right now is this one: [link to www.baynews9.com] I live a few blocks down and walked past it today. Still, scary to see, but it's definitely not as bad as the photo ABC has posted. Last Edited by SoWhatWhoCares on 07/20/2014 06:46 PM |

It has been awhile since any of it has been up at the top of GLP. 5 stars for you. |

"Out of nowhere the earth just went straight up in the air and exploded up in the air," said Margaret Helmick, who lives in the neighborhood." Too bad we don't have security cam footage to see exactly how it happened. Quoting: natasha77 If I have the luck to be able to run...... This is scary. Any calderas under Florida? I live here too and hate sinkholes, they tested my place when I moved in because the building next door had small sinkhole, so I guess were safe. I don't think there are any calderas here, but was reading something about some mud volcanoes in the Gulf though, you could probably Google it. |

Really. I guess you just have to block it out of your mind. The only time I really think about it is every now and then the toilet will act funny and all of a sudden all the water goes out of it or if the windows shake or something, then I get a little alert about it. |

The caldera is probably in the Gulf Of Mexico. the caldera probably IS the gulf of texas I heard a meteor formed it, but who knows. The mud volcano is a fairly new discovery, if you Google it they even have pictures of it way deep in the gulf, they kind of look like giant flowers, pretty weird. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 59909653 United States 07/20/2014 08:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Background on Matt Simmons: Quoting: RadChick Matthew Roy Simmons (April 7, 1943-- August 8, 2010) was a famous oil exec who became a BP whistleblower in the weeks before his strange death. Much of what he stated about the disaster was later proven true. He advocated for a complete evacuation of the Gulf of Mexico states, respirators to be supplied to all 20+ million people living on the Gulf (because of fumes from toxic crude, not corexit, which according to him is "worse than mustard gas"), and he believed the real source of the oil was coming from a giant blow-out 10 miles away from the well B site. He also stated (although not in this interview but one closer to his death) that relief wells would never be able to cope with the enormous pressures coming out of the seafloor. He stated the video of the underwater "source" of the leak couldnt possibly contribute to the amount of oil seen in the Gulf. Matt Simmons was amazing. R.I.P. Thanks for posting this RadChick! I only learned of him because of glp, he was an extremely smart guy, who desperately tried to warn everyone what was happening with BP...as I started searching and watching his interviews and videos I couldn't believe how compelling his info was, and how I could have missed every one of his interviews. He was EVERYWHERE durng the BP disaster, til he died in his hottub. I checked into the Maine weather almanac and learned the night he supposedly died in his hottub, his area of Maine had severe thunderstorms and 4 inches of rain. CBS ran pics of the hottub he died in, which was a good 100 yards from his house, and had no covering. I knew then his death was probably not an accident, which wouldn't surprise me by what he was saying about BP and how it woukd destabilize the faults and the rest of the gas field, as well as melt the methane deposits. He also stated they would never be able to seal the well due to the pressures involved. As we now know, oil leaks continue to crop up as seen in flyovers of the Gulf and reports from some of the beaches. And then of course, we have the LA sinkhole...i mean SALT DOME COLLAPSE...in Assumption Parish. And now possibly exploding sinkholes. This is NOT GOOD and I really hope it's a fluke, but taken with all the other evidence we have of the planet changing, ie gases at YSNP, EQ activity, sinkholes, derailments, etc etc -- I am thinking it is not. Listen to that interview I posted above, there are many more on you tube, Ill try to find some other good ones. Basically what he was saying, besides the fact BP was lying about everything, is that it's all CONNECTED. Add in Jack Reed's theory and we have BIG PROBLEMS coming. i knew in my heart they offed Simmons. Thank God for the brave ones. |
Newton's Own User ID: 5970102 United States 07/20/2014 08:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have intimate knowledge of this through my research. Matt Simmons was absolutely correct. Gas is bubbling in bayou corne more and more. There is a nearby liquid butane well there that would ignite. 1.6 million liters, I believe. An explosion of unprecedented intensity will take place the moment that butane touches air. If it calves into bayou corne, it and all the methane will go. “The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power. My Mother had taught me to seek all truth in the Bible.” Nikola Tesla It is paradoxical, yet true, to say, that the more we know, the more ignorant we become in the absolute sense, for it is only through enlightenment that we become conscious of our limitations. Precisely one of the most gratifying results of intellectual evolution is the continuous opening up of new and greater prospects.
