It's probably a case of bad punctuation there. I am saying kudos to the BBC for producing this cool webcomic / multimedia timeline website for Rosetta.

Which includes an interview with Matt Taylor where he says,
"It's got this exploration aspect which I think is fundamentally tapping into your soul as a human. If we didn't have that desire to go out and explore we would still be staring at our navels in a cave somewhere."

Actually I think everyone who has contributed to Rosetta's success deserves kudos for one of the greatest scientific and technical achievements of our lifetime.
