Emerson Lake & Palmer, Eagles, Seals & Croft, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, etc.
They had these 1 gallon jugs for water and everybody started throwing them, It looked like snow. My buddy and I put on our motorcycle helmets. They stopped the concert until they quit. Best concert ever!

Re: Legendary Concerts
The Who, Heart, J. Geils Band, Nash the Slash, CNE Stadium, Toronto, 1980.

Months after the Cincinnati tragedy at the Who concert because of a general admission ticket policy, the Who closed their tour with an added show in Toronto with 70,000 general admission tickets to prove the tragedy wasn't from the ticket policy. The city tried to shut down the show for three days until the band increased its insurance, and hired more cops for crowd control. The show was excellent and went off without a hitch.

Re: Legendary Concerts
Rolling Stones, El Mocambo Club, Toronto, 1977.

The Stones were in town to record one side of a live album and chose Toronto to record it. This was also the time the Stones partied with Canada's first lady at the time - Maggie Trudeau - and where Keith Richards got busted for heroin possession.

Re: Legendary Concerts
The Stones, AC DC, Rush, The Guess Who, Isley Brothers, Justin Timberlake, The Flaming Lips, et al.

Toronto, Downsview Park, 2003. The concert to rehab Toronto's tourism after the SARS outbreak. 450,000 people. I missed everyone but AC DC and the Stones cause I was drinking (free!) beer in the beer tent, but AC DC stole the show. The Stones waited an hour before going on after AC DC to cool the crowd down.

Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, less than a month before Randy died in the plane accident. Was amazing to watch this little short blond guy wailing on the guitar about 10 feet from me, a concert I'll never forget...

Allman Brothers at alpine valley 91 or 92 i guess. huge storm rolled in (literally) it was huge. lightning struck near the stage and power went out for some seconds. when power came back on they were still jamming and didn't miss a beat. i even felt lightning go through me on one of the strikes.
