Some people live there. What are they supposed to do? What did you think was going to happen to them, when it became cool and inexpensive to offshore the labor we need for our products (that we consume here in the U.S.)? What do you think will happen to all of us?

Have you ever heard of tariffs? Why do you think they exist? Why does the US not employ tariffs that all the other countries do?
