The doctor with ebola who is to be evacuated to Emory University is being given blood from a boy who had RECOVERED from ebola.

Dr. Brantly had been treating the boy when he was sick.
The boy actually recovered! This should give us hope.

I was wondering out loud to a friend yesterday about whether or not this could be done, a transfusion from a survivor carrying Ebola antibodies.

I'm not a medical professional, but even so...Occam's Razor is an efficient tool.

I sure hope it works out for him.
