Ebola patent info and ZMap company info. (Very interesting)
I always say to follow the money. Here is what I have found so far on the company Mapp Biopharmaceutical, Inc.

Toronto, ON - Today Defyrus announced an exclusive, worldwide license to their Ebola therapeutic monoclonal antibody (mAb) patent portfolio to Leaf Biopharmaceutical Inc. of San Diego, CA. This license expands the commercial relationship between LeafBio and Defyrus who have been actively collaborating to drive the commercialization of mAb-based Ebola therapies.

LeafBio, the commercialization partner of Mapp Biopharmaceutical, had been developing proprietary Ebola-specific antibody drug MB-003 in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The licensing of Defyrus’ ZMAb antibody portfolio, pioneered at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and licensed earlier to Defyrus, consolidates the intellectual property of a superior combination mAb drug – termed ZMappTM - which is composed of the best mAbs of MB-003 and ZMAb ( [link to www.defyrus.com] July152014-ZMAb-license.pdf)

Epidemiology/ecology and laboratory diagnosis of hemorrhagic fevers and arthropod-borne viral diseases. More specifically, these include the mechanisms of transmission from reservoir zoonotic hosts to humans as well as transmission of the viral hemorrhagic fever viruses from case to case, particularly in health care settings. Of recent interest has been the persistence of the hemorrhagic fever viruses in reservoir populations and individual animals. The reservoir host(s) of the filoviruses has been a particular interest over the past 20 years, and in the last five years or so has focused on megachiropterans.

Also of personal interest is the area of high containment operations and operational biosafety. My goal is to facilitate a high containment laboratory environment that promotes excellence in science while maintaining the necessary high standards of safety and security necessary to work with high consequence pathogens in today's world ( [link to www.utmb.edu]

It appears to only work in the first 48 hours. It is truly interesting that Dr. Brantly is not getting better. This is way off from the trials that have been conducted using ZMap. ( [link to www.economicpolicyjournal.com)]

he firm producing (part of?) zMapp is Kentucky Bioprocessing, LLC (KBP)

Hugh Haydon is the founding Chairman and CEO of KBP.

Prior to assuming his current role with KBP, Haydon served as Executive Vice-President of Programs for a Washington, DC based consulting group providing strategic and implementation direction to various research, development and commercialization programs for the United States Department for Homeland Security.

According to Kentucky.gov, since 2010 KBP has secured and successfully executed over $30 million in contracts with the United States Department of Defense "aimed at protecting the warfighter and general public from various biological threats."

In 1999, Haydon was presented with the Kentucky Distinguished Service Medal for his service in support of the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs.

The big questions:

1. Was the U.S. military only doing research to find a treatment or were they attempting to also develop Ebola as a biowarfare weapon?

2. Were they conducting Ebola research in Africa, which appears to be the case? SEE: A Link Between the Ebola Outbreak and a US Bioweapons Lab?

3. Did they lose control of their research experiments in Africa which has resulted in the current Ebola outbreak? ( [link to www.economicpolicyjournal.com)]

"There are many villages in the eastern part of Sierra Leone that are basically devastated," virologist Robert Garry of Tulane University told National Pubic Radio. "We walked into one village ... and we found 25 corpses. One house with seven people, all in one family, were dead. ( [link to www.economicpolicyjournal.com]

This shows that the ebola virus is 100% fatal. This is very concerning.

Global BioDefense.

According to GBD, the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases has been operating in the area since 2006, supposedly working on "diagnostic tests."

Metabiota Inc., a non-government organization (NGO) is also involved in the testing. It lists among its partners, the Department of State, Biological Engagement Program and the Department of Defense, Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Advisors to the NGO include Admiral Gary Roughead, former US Chief of Naval Operations.

Oh, and about Robert Parry, the virologist that I quote above who was in Sierra Leone, BioMed Central reports, that:
He is currently managing a consortium of scientists who are developing modern diagnostics for several biodefense pathogens. ( [link to www.economicpolicyjournal.com]

What we are dealing with here is a consortium of companies. There is one company that is the umbrella of all the organizations. We just need to figure out which one. Then we need to see where the money is coming from and the deals that have been made with other companies through licensing the technology. Lets see if we can find any call options were placed on the stock prior to Dr. Brantly's news. This will allow us to find out who is truly behind this if it is man made. Think of the put options placed on the aircraft prior to 9/11. If it is JP Morgan then you know the Rockerfellers and those organizations are involved.

We need to determine what companies were conducting research prior to the outbreak.

What a coincidence.....good article

From April

Earlier this year, the Ebola virus popped up for the first time ever in West Africa.

How it got there, some 2,000 miles from previous Ebola hotspots in remote parts of Central Africa, remains a mystery.

Experts are particularly concerned about the current outbreak, which has sickened more than 250 and killed at least 140, because the pathogen has made its way into Conakry, the densely populated capital city of Guinea.

last month the US National Institutes of Health announced that it was putting a combined total of more than $50 million towards a handful of the most promising approaches.

Zeitlin says the group’s latest cocktail contains a mixture of two antibodies developed by the Canadian team and one from the US bunch.

We expect to be doing a phase 1 safety trial in the first half of 2015,” Zeitlin says.

Strange indeed! Could this be what some may have and not Ebola?

The partnership aims to advance several different types of therapeutics for Ebola virus and the related Marburg virus, which also causes hemorrhagic fevers in humans.

So according to the article protocol was broken and they used the secret serum that was slated for testing in 2015?

It had not even gone through phase one and they use it?

WTF IS GOING ON?

Is this why and who brought Ebola here?

Ebola crops up unexpectedly in a new spot, two Americans flown home get a serum that has not even been tested?

Under the US Food and Drug Administration’s so-called ‘animal rule,’ these experimental treatments for Ebola—for which it would be impractical or unethical to demonstrate efficacy in humans—can be licensed for human use provided that phase 1 trials demonstrate that they are safe in humans.

However, aside from Tekmira’s RNAi therapy for Ebola, the phase 1 trial of which is slated to wrap up by the middle of this year, none of these treatments appears likely to clear human safety tests any time soon. “It’s always difficult to see an ongoing outbreak, and we haven’t had time to cross all those tests for licensure,” Kobinger says. But, he adds, “we’re really hoping that we’ll have something in place for the next outbreak.”

This is also very interesting regarding the ZMap drug.

According to first author James Pettitt of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), the research team previously demonstrated that the treatment—known as MB-003—protected 100 percent of non-human primates when given one hour after Ebola exposure. To rush a drug that has not gone through the proper testing is insane. The side affects can be worse than the drug. Since we know that this appears to be about the money. We need to figure out who benefits from this drug being rushed. What happens with not for profit and for profit companies is that they shift money between one company and the other.

Yeah why use this serum and not the Tekmira one which is further along in trials?

My head is spinning trying to make sense of all this.

I believe that more people and companies benefit from the other drug and it might have shown more positive results. The end result is to get everyone chipped with an RFID chip. They need to have the drug that might actually work to achieve this goal. The goal is to determine which company is the umbrella company and who owns that company.

Can someone help me breakdown each company and compile a list of owners and their background?

Could this be about boosting Obamacare?

Why else would US knowingly allow the entry of a deadly virus on our soil?

Those doctors were full aware of the dangers and still contracted it, better yet KEY Ebola doctors are dropping like flies....Why?

If all it takes is one mistake why did they bring it here and who rubber stamped its expedition?

Consortiums (The bold ones are the ones that I have connected to each other.)

Global BioDefense – I believe they are the umbrella company
Kentucky Bioprocessing, LLC (KBP)
Mapp Biopharmaceutical – I think they are the research arm for Global.
Toronto-based Defyrus – I think they are the distribution company for Global

Some companies to keep an eye out for. A few companies are testing Ebola vaccines--namely, Inovio Pharmaceuticals ($INO), Vaxart, and now GlaxoSmithKline ($GSK) with the recent acquisition of Swiss biotech Okairos, which has an Ebola vaccine. But those are all in preclinical testing.
One of those investigational therapies, Tekmira Pharmaceuticals' ($TKMR) RNA interference therapeutic, has hit a regulatory snag. The RNAi therapeutic, dubbed TKM-Ebola, was recently placed on clinical hold by the FDA over safety concerns. The FDA granted a Fast Track Designation in March for its RNAi therapeutic, which works by "silencing" disease-causing genes, and earlier preclinical work published in The Lancet demonstrated that the therapy provided a 100% protection rate in monkeys given a lethal dose of the Ebola Zaire strain.

But for Tekmira to resume its Phase I trial, it will have to hand over additional data to the FDA related to cytokine release at higher doses. Cytokine release syndrome is a common complication that causes high fever and, in severe cases, buildup of fluid in the lungs. ( [link to www.fiercebiotech.com]
