Yes, I totally agree with that sentiment as well. I try to speak in similar terms, but I get caught up in the "we" when referring to this country.
If YOU or I (or the people in general) were in charge of this place, we wouldn't be doing the terrible things we do to the environment, to each other, and to basically everything we touch.
Unfortunately, the deck is stacked against us right from the womb, as we are born into the mess and surrounded by it from the beginning.
Whether you believe this is a scripted event by both BRICS and the IMF, or if you think this is a power struggle by legitimate good vs evil, bad times this way comes.
I believe if we had politicians that were willing to NEGOTIATE with one another, we could find a way out of this mess that doesn't involve violence and death.
As always, money talks, and none of them have the balls to say the things we read about on GLP on a daily basis.
There is more intelligence here than all the way up and down our political chain of command.
