I think I want one of these bows. Frankly, the noise and kick of a shotgun disturb me--although I can use one if needed, but it would be nice to accomplish the job without hurting my ears or getting a bruise. you should not be operating a shotgun!! |

Of course, if there's time to make a decision. In the home, a shotgun is probably handier, while the pistol is handier outside the home. While I prefer the pistol, I have no hesitation in grabbing the shotgun if there is an intruder in my home. I don't want to kill anybody, but if they break into my home, I will assume that they are not just "visiting' and will act accordingly. |

I'm not very tall or big, small boned, small hands, so, it works. His full size shotguns, WAY too heavy/long/kick for me. I also have a Sig Sauer .370 and it's small, my thumb can actually flip the safety and I can easily chamber a round without difficulty (smoothly on 1st try). It is a small handgun though, too small for my husband's hands. He feels like he has a kiddie gun, ha. I like my husband's little ole .22 revolver too. I am most accurate with the shotgun and the .22,plus easier/faster for me to load (takes me awhile to get bullets in the sig mags). I need more practice w/the Sig. (Those spray can that are supposed to reach 20 feet or more!) I suspect a lot of sprays would be effective. Oven cleaner supposedly works, although it may leave the person sprayed blind or somewhat vision impaired. A lot of items can be used for self defense. |
