The chip, a slightly more advanced version of the tags used to track pets, turned Gasson into a walking swipe-card. With a wave of his wrist, he could open security doors at the University of Reading laboratory, where his experiment was being conducted, and he could unlock his cell phone just by cradling it. A year later, Gasson infected his own implant with a computer virus, one that he could pass on to other computer systems if the building's networks were programmed to read his chip. As Gasson breezed around the the workplace, spreading the virus and corrupting computer systems, certain areas of the building became inaccessible to his colleagues. At the time of the experiment, theoretical physicist and author of "The Future of the Mind" Michio Kaku told FOX News that demonstrating the ability to spread infection was an "important point" because "we're going to have more chips in our body and clothing." ---------------------------------- More at link: [ link to finance.yahoo.com] |

What a challenge! it's like having a mental illness, or a cell phone on most of the time, and after already being diagnosed for something mental years ago, makes me self conscious despite the high tech niftiness. Looks like a lump under the skin and my skin doesn't accept it as natural even. A doctor on the take of gov't would call it cancerous, but I know that's not the sake. My body doesn't like it either.
Look, if they can hack a hotel card, if they can crack a phone, if they can hack a car, a chip is no different. It's a pattern of an object with a pattern of a language, in the flesh. Actually problematic if mobsters want to get it out of you. You want detachable tech for your own life safety. One day there'll be laser beams on those doorway detectors, and the wrong one...zap. |
