4Q (OP) User ID: 112785 United States 07/14/2006 12:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Did the bunny thing at 37 yards in a full sprint (the bunny) with a bolt action 22 lr single shot. Not bad eh! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 102726Used to do that with frogs...I became partial to frog legs, and no...They do not taste like chicken... If you only get one gun, get a shotgun in at least 20 gauge...Birdshot (6's) and buck (at least #4 or larger) will do for almost all situations from skwill (squirrel) to deer in close...And the 4 Buck tosses a mean pattern at 20 yards against humans... Don't discount a good pump-up BB gun with a scope...Lousey for protection (unless you hit em in the eye), but perfect for everything up to woodchuck (or even slightly larger) and they are quiet! I really need to start reloading |

You talk about a quite round to snipe a few squirrles and bunnies with. Had to check my rifle after each round was fired. I ran them through a lever action 22, and the hammer falling was louder than the round being fired. |

When killing small game, you really don't want to be scaring the crap out of the rest of the potential dinners. Nope..just an old box with like 20 shells that are probably to old to work anymore..that shot gun was bought from my uncle for home defence like in 1975 and dont fire anything since at least 15 years, it is not even legal anymore since it's a 6 round and they have introduced a new limitation of max 2 rounds but who care if war come.. So you suggest what kind of hammo i should buy the multiple pellets or the single big pellet one? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 107806Would it be better to buy black market as the gun can't be traced to an owner . Is this a silly question? Yes its a silly question. The black market is traced. Its called law enforcement. just buy a gun from a friend or someone who is selling one. If your concerned about being paperless. Its perfectly legal, and no trail. Its perfectly legal, and no trail. all true, but I wouldn't recommend buying from a friend, if the friend bought it through the paper work avenue. since if the gun is used and found, it will be traced to the friend. Not a very friendly thing to do. |
