if Linux is too hard for you
use XP, or windows 7 with Windows 7 Firewall control.
Shut off Java, and use Proxies to surf the Internet with
Firefox in Private mode, with cookies off.
Use Start page, and start page proxy to view web pages.
Never use GMail or other Free email that read/store all your communications (for the NSA)
