my first encounter with a Rosicrucian Fellow member was back when i was a child.
An old family friend who was an Optometrist in Obregon, Mexico - serving as the local Healer as well.

Word had it that she had stolen her children from the poor neighboring villages and soon brought the whole family to the US.
She set up shop as both healer and as an in-house care provider for the dying in Glendale CA.

Hmmm.
