I'm a single mom...I mowed the grass with a kid on my hip all the time. Who else was gonna do it? I couldn't very well leave the kid(s) alone in the house without supervision! Lol.

I saw a lady at the grocery store just the other day, one baby in the front, one on the back and 2 little ones walking with her......if she can do the grocery shopping like that I have no doubts someone can mow the lawn with one strapped to their back. somehow I highly doubt the person that inspired this thread/poll was mowing a few acres....mowing the front and sides of a typical yard takes all of about 20 minutes or less It takes slightly longer with a kid or two on the hips, lol! Thank God, those days are long gone!!!!! Lol. Hell, my mom threatened to call children's services on me one time cuz I didn't have a/c, it was 100 degrees and I had to wash dishes, but it was sweltering. I put the two little ones in a kiddie pool in my backyard and washed dishes in a Rubbermaid tub outside. I thought I was a genius. Kids were cool, chores got done. My mother came over during my stroke of genius and called me all kinds of awful things and threatened to call children's services cuz I was doing dishes outside!!!! Hahahah ah. When you're a parent, you do what you have to do even when it doesn't make sense to anybody else. Whatever happened to helping others?????? It's not easy being a parent, single or otherwise. We, as a community, should offer to help others when needed. :-). You are an inspiration to mankind! I dont like you mother though..... sounds like a bitch. Yes she is!!!! Unless it's done her way, it's done wrong! Lol! Now that I'm almost 40 I have learned to not let her bother me so much. Thanks for your kind words!!!! :-).
