So ZMAPP worked coincidentally or not, on 2 caucasion docs, but did not work on the African doctor?

I've read of experiments(maybe here on glp?) of race specific medicine or diseases, can't remember, but it was being developed, as I recall reading.

Just so everyone knows. Short of lots of field data, and complex Math, there is no way to determine the mortality rate from the official statistics...Not until the outbreak is OVER. I've seen a few posts about this, and a critical point seems to be consistently missed. Each day there are MORE new people infected, at an INCREASING rate of infection. A month ago, it was something like 40/day and now it's 70 or 100...

If you have say 2800 infected and 1400 dead, you do not necessarily have a 50% mortality rate. 1400 people could die in the next week from the remaining 1400, since they could have just started showing signs... in that time, you will have another say 700 infected.... Until people stop getting infected, then you don't know how many people haven't died, that will within a week.

What if this strain has a remission period or something, where the recovered victims release and quickly die? How would that fair for the US if Brantly and Whitebol have the same thing happen after being released as cleared?

This means that the monkeys received ZMapp within 1 hour of being injected with Ebola.

For people that would mean it would only work if you knew exactly when you were infected and then took ZMapp within the hour.

2 days after being infected, the survival rate goes way down.
