I spent a fortune on the most powerful computer that I could have custom built, and virus software of every brand. But I got shut out of every trade I tried to make that would have earned me instant fortunes in 2008. When I called the broker, they were too quick to announce that they weren't shutting down my computer, before I could even bring up the subject of my problem. They must have been screwing a lot of common people that way. Now my computer shuts down so regularly that it is hard to type a statement here.) On the subject of Jesus' appearance. I know what Jesus thought of people making pictures of him or describing him. I think it was very likely that there were severe problems with his appearance in Israel. In just about every conceivable way. (Pun intended!) To people who didn't believe, or weren't allowed to be told about Jesus' origin, he only looked and seemed different from the rest of his family. If his mother had been raped by a Roman soldier, he could have been at least half of any race. He might have been Oriental or African. He would have had to endure ugly rumors about his mother. He might have had to fight a lot. But he didn't want any human beings to make distinctions of race. His words did not come from any race and they weren't directed at any race. He didn't want any racial issues in the Church. He wanted the apostles to see past race and not to encourage making those distinctions. He explained to them that as they honored his Father in spirit by not making images of God, so they would have to honor him. No one who understood Jesus would make an image of him. They resisted even describing him. Still, it's interesting to see old archaeological finds. What someone wants to tell you about the find is as revealing as the truth, even when it isn't the truth. Scientists love to speculate no less than religious archaeologists. They often have ideas to sell. |

Look at the way he was treated even as an adult. He asks a woman at the well for a drink when he is obviously tired and thirsty from travel, and all she can do is argue with him. Women have always responded to me like that too. They always want to know why I'm talking to them rather than what I'm saying. It's almost a torment. No woman would ever just give me water if I asked for it. "Why are you talking to me?" What is her problem with me indeed! It's unfathomable. |

At least try to make it three dimensional. We are all in six by six by six boxes. But those of us who know it send our words out. We neither live nor think in the box. But we still have to live with it and we know people see us in a box. It's a box of their own imagination and devising. It can be racial or religious or anything else and it governs the way they relate to you, limiting your options to respond to them. You have to keep your spirit and thoughts out of the box. Your box and their box. |

User ID: 1013398 United States 04/03/2011 09:40 AM By NICK PRYER Quoting: TXGal4Truth Last updated at 12:15 PM on 3rd April 2011 The image is eerily familiar: a bearded young man with flowing curly hair. After lying for nearly 2,000 years hidden in a cave in the Holy Land, the fine detail is difficult to determine. But in a certain light it is not difficult to interpret the marks around the figure’s brow as a crown of thorns. The extraordinary picture of one of the recently discovered hoard of up to 70 lead codices – booklets – found in a cave in the hills overlooking the Sea of Galilee is one reason Bible historians are clamouring to get their hands on the ancient artefacts. If genuine, this could be the first-ever portrait of Jesus Christ, possibly even created in the lifetime of those who knew him.
