It directly deals with this kind of thing, the government is bankrupt so the corps buy it all out. This does not shock me in the least. This is why the government wants this generation saddled with student loan debt, it can't be written off in bankruptcy so you're pretty much stuck having to pay it off. Which pretty much means they own you, and can do whatever the hell they please. Expect more of this in the near future, I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't happen a lot with software companies/movie studios that are tired of pirating. |
