Only a select group of large wealthy coporations operated by cut throat business men and research scientists and backed by The Government, are allowed to concoct chemical substances that have affects on your body, (often with very lethal side effects, often leading to death if multiple veraeties are mixed together and or you take too much of said substances), and sell them to millions of other people, legally without any reprocussions or therat of being locked into a steel cage for a long period of time.

Said corporations are often refered to as "big pharma" and can make upwards of billions of dollars each year in profits.
