The reason people get married is so they can escape all the nut cases in the world.

Then there's you.

People tend to like a "type" - like tall, dark, and handsome or blonde, short, and too fat to be of interest for anyone else. Chances are that you and her husband both fit into the type she is/was interested in.

Agree...women def usually date similar looking men. I've always been attracted to blonde, short men, with big shoulders Every guy I dated before I married fit that profile. My husband also fits that profile. It's just what I like.

I hope one of my ego inflated ex's doesn't think I still have the hots for him when he stalks me on FB, because my husband looks like him.

I have a thing for liberal arts educated men with dreadlocks, which doesn't even make sense because the overly slackertastic and generally juvenile lifestyle that goes with them would drive me mad after a very very short while. I just hold my breath and repeat to myself, "noooo, stop it, don't look, stooooppp it, use brains - brainnnns!" when they walk by. But yeah, if I had gone with my first instinct everyone I ever dated would have looked pretty much the same.
