Fafhrd User ID: 61790121 United States 08/30/2014 09:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Japan is completely fucking doomed. Natural disasters, enormously food vulnerable, horrible population trends, massive debt overhang, few sources of energy feedstock, and China as your new burgeoning superpower neighbor. No thanks. That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably. John Michael Greer |

Singapore = Used to be good in the 80s, now its turning to shit I used to live in the UAE, still have my head, and I am not muslim.... I have also been to Bahrain. Bahrain is very expat friendly. They even have night clubs and alcohol. Have you ever been to Taiwan? I have. I loved the place and they are building and expanding. It's definitely nicer than say... Phuket or Manila Why are Hong Kong and Singapore turning to shit? They are both VERY densely populated cities and the cost of living is extremely high. Other than that they are growing. Japan is probably the only one you got right, but you are only talking about areas affected by radiation. I would guess you are not basing your information on real world experiences and instead on something you read on the internet. Am I right? I think your response is just propaganda and am raising the BS flag on the whole thing. |
