My answer: He's neither. Just a kind-hearted, well-meaning man with loads of evidence to back up his claims. Although I can't say I agree with ALL of his claims, I generally estimate his analysis to be mostly correct.

I'm not sure I understand what grounds you are calling Marrs into question for being a phony. You omitted his very first book, published in 1980, titled "America Shattered: Unmasking the Plot To Destroy Our Families and Our Country." So if it is his consistency you're doubting, doubt no longer.
