This over the weekend, he was told by top military men....they seem to be losing faith in the civilian leadership.

It would have helped if they had lost faith and then acted right after the coup of 2001.

I guess, despite their oath, they liked having the policy of the country radically changed, the constitution pushed aside, a police/surveillance state put in place, and constant war.
