Nice thinking that if you show devotion to someone that you will be protected. Is it realistic to expect that with 7 billion people and 1/3 of the host of heaven that rebelled were kicked out to here that bad things will never happen to good people.

Happens all the time.

It either isn't true, isn't possible, or wasn't supposed to be in the Bible in the first place.

The only way it could possibly have any meaning is if you applied to an entire group of people. But it doesn't say that "as a group no weapon...."

The verse refers to the servants of the Lord,
Immortal.

& no weapon imagined or forged will prevail (in this realm, world)
No word, thought ... basis / desire for action (in any realm)

this is very true. the evil is always after me. I just stay dedicated to the truth and seeking out reality and the demons are always at a safe distance. I often wonder what it is like to be the ones that do not understand the truth and wonder why bad things happen to them. All while not realizing they have caused all their misfortunes.

Exactly! What the naysayer doesn't understand is that earth as we know it is temporal.
