People tend to blame anything else for their problems. Blaming something else, somehow makes them think they are not resposible for their own problems. |

My ovaries feel like they are getting stabbed with a knife because I've been "trained" to believe that? My low back pain for 3 days is because of what I learned in health class? Scarlet red blood exiting my body profusely has no physical symptoms associated with it? It's psychosomatic? That's bullshit, dude. Be glad you do not have to experience it every 3-weeks to a month. It's pretty fucking terrible. ![]() A Fine Mess |

All i know is if i have to take a massive dump i don't use it as an excuse to abuse others. If i am sick i dont lash out at everyone. If a woman can't control herself on her rag i kick her right the fuck out of my life. No use for that bullshit. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 62627946 ![]() 09/08/2014 02:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | PMS was a nightmare............. It was the only time I felt rage, hate and cried a lot. Ovulation was a nightmare also, over sex drive from hell. A very real problem, not by choice or excuse. |

Quoting: Norman 61251631 Most supporters of PMS as a social construct believe PMDD and PMS to be unrelated issues: according to them, PMDD is a product of brain chemistry, and PMS is a product of a hypochondriatic culture. Most studies on PMS and PMDD rely solely on self-reporting. According to sociologist Carol Tavris, Western women are socially conditioned to expect PMS or to at least know of its existence, and they therefore report their symptoms accordingly. A variety of problems, such as chronic depression, infections, and outbursts of frustration can be mis-diagnosed as PMS if they happen to coincide with the premenstrual period. Tavris says that PMS is blamed as an explanation for rage or sadness. source [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] It's real. I'm older now, but PMS really wasn't identified when I was younger and had it. I couldn't understand why I was upset over every little thing until I read about it later. If I remember correctly, it only lasted about 2-3 days, but my husband (ex now) always called me a raving bitch once a month. He didn't know what it was either. I couldn't understand what was happening. The two cups of coffee in the morning didn't help. Made it worse...felt like I was jumping out of my skin. I look back now and wish I knew about it then and just calmed down knowing what was happening to my body and mind. As I said, I am older...I'm so calm. Nothing ever upsets me now. It's probably sold everywhere. You will have no pain! Take a few days before onset of period and first two days. Don't have to take it everyday for 30 days. I found it too late to help me cope through my 20's and 30's. Nature's Way Dong Quai Root -- 100 Capsules @ Walgreen's, $9.59. Last Edited by nutmeg on 09/08/2014 02:43 PM |
