I have a very bad feeling about this. When I first saw the headline, I thought maybe someone had chiseled the year into the granite slab but NO...they went to the trouble of chiseling out a notch and placing a "CORNERSTONE" with the year on it. This is definitely meant to send a message!!!

I have pined this. Someone has got to have an idea when it was inserted. You know, like some one was there, say, September 1st, and it wasn't there, then someone else went on the 4th and it was?? Hopefully by pineing, we will get some answers. This is a very ominous development indeed.

From what I can recall on a documentary on it, the stones have been monitored daily with multiple cameras due to the constant attempts to vandalize the area. So whomever put the new stone in would be on the footage , or not if it was shut off, but there would've been a specific time period of activity in the area. Roadblocks, police presence to deter onlookers, maybe even a local company that carved the cornerstone itself. Maybe an out of town source so as too not be traced back, but what I'm thinking is - when the recent (but small) story came put a couple weeks back about the new spray paint vandalism, my guess is that's the time the new stone was placed. Cams would've been off, and specific groups of people locked down the site to "clean" the mess up. The perfect distraction.
