Re: You are an Avatar in a Simulated Virtual Reality Role-Playing Game
Interesting OP!

I don't think that thought alone creates reality. Seeing is believing. Thoughts have to be observed, thus believed, before it manifests into material reality. I think a billion thoughts per day, but only few manifests, and they are the thoughts that I believe in. It's like the spoon bending, you have to have faith and believe, the thought of the spoon bending alone, is not enough, otherwise we all would be able to do it without much trouble.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11344582

I'd like to play with your words, light-heartedly.

You said "thoughts have to be observed.... before it manifests into material reality" - I'm curious, how you observe a thought?

Every thought, whether it's concerning something wanted or unwanted, shapes our perception of reality, the degree to which is determined by how much we think that thought. The frequency of those thoughts is your point of attraction. The saying "seeing is believing" is what happens when we observe a set of manifested circumstances that was pre-paved by thought - whether intentional or by default.

It's interesting to observe those around us, even more so, to observe ourselves.... take note of the things we think about most, talk about most, beat the drum of most.... those are the things we see the most - whether it's something we want, or something we don't want, doesn't matter -- the more we focus on it, the more of it we get.

Notice those folks who give their attention to thoughts of being happy are usually happy. Those who give their attention to thoughts of wanting to be happy but who focus on their lack of happiness, usually end up with more lack of happiness. We can insert any word in place of happy(ness) and see it happening in our lives, and those around us.

We can either take responsibility for our thoughts (intentional), and think better thoughts like gratitude, appreciation, love, abundance for those things in our life that make us feel good, or, we can continue beating the drum (thinking thoughts) and talking of those things we don't like and don't want, and when more of it manifests, look around for some one or some circumstance to blame it on, and fool ourselves into believing the circumstance caused the thought, rather than the other way around.

The thing about the spoon.....
there is NO spoon... YOU are the one that bends :)

Re: You are an Avatar in a Simulated Virtual Reality Role-Playing Game
We are up against one of the most paradigm shifting realizations about the nature of our reality. I cannot stress enough that our reality is not physical rather it is "rendered".

A big difference once we realize how reality is information.
 Quoting: YouAreDreaming

OP, just wanted to say I have thoroughly enjoyed reading you here - we're on the same virtual page :)

I remember when I first came around to these ideas and concepts, it was difficult to comprehend the magnitude of implication, even tho the premise made complete sense. I spent some (much) time digging into quantum anything-I-could-understand to help get theory pieces into place - you've done a wonderful job explaining such in your posts.

I was bothered at first.... just as anyone would be when a paradigm comes crashing down (and I've had a few of those, thankfully!) to redefine reality, but what I've come to really understand is that it doesn't matter how I define reality, what matters is the experience of it.

We're all here right now because we choose to have a 3 dimensional - 4th density - time-space - physical reality EXPERIENCE, and that's exactly what we're having... and it's one helluva ride!!

:)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21363812

It's the way it's always been, we lose sight of it and stumble around in the dark until the realizations of what we are within the fabric of reality hits us back square in the face.

It's one hell of a dream too.

Just remember, it's not wave-function collapse rather it's information rendering. That is the part that physicists are struggling over and they don't want to admit that the criteria for wave-function collapse is "information access" rather they call it "measurement".

The fact a measurement has been taken the particle is then formed.

The truth is information has been accessed so the virtual reality simulator must render the information aka form the particle.

A big difference but the latter is the truth. We exist in a rendered reality, not a physical one.

YouAreDreaming have you ever explored the work of Thomas Campbell? He wrote a book titled 'My Big TOE (Theory Of Everything)'.... I haven't read it yet but his name came up twice over the past week or so and I'm going to be checking out some of his presentations/interviews today. I may read his book as well but it's 800 pages so that will take some time, lol....

New age satanic jibber jabber
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50510851

Ahh, you must be playing the "I am a stubborn Christian" simulation. Good for you - you seem to make a awesome score.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62027171

What you call "stubborn", intelligent people call right.

Why do you feel threatened by Christians?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14887237

Nope, I am not afraid of Christians - that is your interpretation or I should say projection on me. Remember the thread? We are all roleplayer in a simulation, which might be true. You are playing your role as Christian which is fine and I play my role as whatever you wanna call me. Make no mistake - I am not intending to judge for I don't want to be judged. In the end we are all infinite consciousness from one source, if you acknowledge this or not. Sure some roles demand a higher "skill" level in ignorance to perform according to their script. Calling everything satanic which doesn't seem to fit in their dogma is part of this programming, which is fine because otherwise the simulation would be less interesting. So stay true to your nature.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62027171

Of course he acknowledges this, as the creator Yahuah is this one source who gave us these flesh bodies containing our eternal souls/spirits. I happen to agree with the original comment of this being "new age jibber jabber" but taking it a step further, you realize why this is so? It just denies Christ. Oh, in a simulation, nothing is real, nothing matters, eh why not be a homo? It isn't wrong anymore, oh this whole existence is a random chance but actually was a mistake so there's no right or wrong, no black or white, why accept Christ as anyone important? It would actually fall more in line with just being your own deity, like, having a form of godliness, yet denying Father...but, it doesn't matter, does it????? This OP, is hardly false....these aren't our real bodies!!! They aren't really "us," but I can see how this can truly evoke some anti-God vibes. It really takes away the seriousness of this whole new world order and new age alien agenda that's lurking in the background yet right in front of our faces. But then again...there are heroes and main-story protagonists in all novels, movies and videogames, who change this story or help write it, and fight/defend against the villains, mini bosses, main bosses, etc. So depending how you view it, you can take it to just forget everything and live as a collective or view it all as something you can't change, or fight back. www.orgoneblasters.com www.tearingdownstrongholds.com
Do you play your role as innocent bystander in all this? Or is all this not in your simulation? chuckle I don't know, but I'm pretty sure we're in this same simulation where joan rivers outed obama as a homo and michael a tranny and got killed for it, where all these sellout satan freaks who don't tow the line get murdered for it, cause they wanted to stop pumping out anti-Christ pro crowley garbage to the masses who buy it up and easily fall prey to similar anti-God messages. It's kinda funny....that, most hardcore new agers are into this whole ascension and aliens thing, they want it so much, they're gonna get it! They just are going to learn, careful what you wish for, in a harsh and rude awakening, as they become repty-bites!

I am very familiar with Brain Whitworth's work, I've had discussions with him via e-mail over several years. It's kind of fun because my view, reality has emerged from awareness using thought to form reality patterns known as dreams, and given no limits to time/space it evolved into what we see to day, which is a grand virtual reality composed entirely of thought aka the Universal Dream.

The Cellular Automation abstract was new, again interesting. I even enjoyed Max Tegmark's Mathematical Universe but if all of the above cannot see how the computer is a field of Universal awareness using thought to create the virtual simulation, then they are just a tad bit short of what it is.

Tom Campbell however, he definitely knows that consciousness and awareness is what is simulating our reality. I've read My Big Toe and chatted over the years with Tom.

For me the greatest teacher is in self-evident revelations through dreams such as precognition, but then I know I've probably gone a little deeper than most in exploring that in my life.

There's a lot more as well, the OBE state similar to what Tom used to have his perspective changed.

The fact is, we do exist in a virtual reality that is very much like a fully immersed role-playing game when we take on our human personality and have a life experience.

Prepare to be mind blown... reality is just much more interesting than we think.

It's a designer system backed by some really creative intelligence which we are all parts of.

It's a bit technical, Tom somewhat invents new metaphors to describe his theories but after all he's a physicist that worked for Nasa and the DoD, but he gets his insights from his consciousness research connected at the Monroe Institute.

However, his insights do present one of the few models of reality where it's origins are consciousness and how consciousness has evolved into a larger dimensional manifold producing what he calls The Big Computer which runs all the simulations we experience because we are living in a virtual reality as a result.

He also compares reality to a MMORPG citing World of Warcraft in his examples, and even talks about us rolling new characters (in youtube videos).

The "game" metaphor is really good, and underscores that we have a Quest, that we can change levels, that time is running both ways depending on viewpoint, that we can program the game ourselves, that the interface lies in using the fractal nature of events.

In a computational world everything is possible - if you can figure out the interface…..and it seems like that will be our Quest on the next level.

Conciousness is not on our side, I would rather suffer non existance then to be plunged into a cochroach or a bacteria.

So when people say this is a game no its not it just IS.

If ww3 happens in the future, after the dust has cleared and the ashes burnt out. We will have new forms of mini dictatorship take place.
Mainly the neurotic kind will break loose and manifest their inner chaos into reality with great relief, They will form their own narcissistic scenario of religious rebirth within the group, and make their quest that of "holy" nature. Nomadic people will be picked up from the scattered lands and be forced to join the "Restruction of order" (proto feudalism).
The blueprint of future forces of control can already be seen in todays social hierarki mainly in: Race, minerals/language division, Stature, Female healing energy vs Mans destructive mind.
The lands will be divided upon the regional space that is already being occupied by these "groups" so to say that Germany will become more racially bound to their own kind and shuff away at any other group that was deemed inferior in the past. bloodshed and other forms of penalizing will take place without any resistance from bystanders.
Naturally this will only come into being if the series of cascades unfolds accordingly. The New world order will not come into fruition nor will it succeed in its continuous process of global control while having the same structural presence previously known.
Remember the neurotic psychotic mind has tipped to overdrive. And the passive human will have resigned himself to primal animalistic behavior, and hostility to anyone foreign.
The nwo forget that the damage they have done to the human psyche is unreversable. And that humans have shut down for a second time in their evolution to rid themselves from reality based anxiety. Basically man will be pushed over to the point of no return in terms of even wanting to be a part of a functioning society after both personal loss then recall of the failures in previous times.
"Mad Max (1979) in the near future Max remembers the time of chaos after the collapse of the oil-based economy, and the apocalyptic world war that followed.
Max tells how gangs of scavengers took over the roads, pillaging for fuel, and how
ordinary men were broken in the decay men like Mad max, who lost his wife and infant child to the gangs, and became an empty "shell of a man."

The intelligent and well prepared warrior will not be in despair but rather realise that from destruction comes something new and hopefully with his knowledge and well developed intuitive knowing, he will set up a base where he will aid the sheeple to safety. Naturally there will be resistance within the group but nothing the warrior has not been prepared for. He will have to kill so and so in order to reach balance within his tribe. He will give teachings of selfhood and why to endure present time in various analogies.
But his base will see its finite when General Bethlehem and his neurotic followers marches from the distance closer and closer to the warriors safe- haven. The general will not ask for much trouble except for total control of the village and obedience in exchange for their life being kept intact. The warrior being outnumbered and lack of companions will ultimately agree to the exchange of percieved sovereignty...

The nwo, after they realised that their ultimate plan for global control failed. They will then put their plan B into order: The Reptilian army, that has been trained in underground bunkers and caves, will be sent to the surface to clean up the remaining humans left and condemn them to good ol' slavery. Realising that the peoples perception will be changed from thinking it was the only "intelligent" creature on this planet, to see coordinated Reptiles 6'8 seize control. Nwo realises that the old perception of the humans has been ceased and they are now left with people in yet another deep traumatic shock of whats unfolding.
"Now the Elohim still recides inside the hollow earth and has been put to technological sleep. "Much like the original: Planet of the apes (1968) where the residents on the spacecraft wakes up after having slept thousand of years past the destruction of humanity and crash lands onto the planet where the apes now rule ."
And too be awakened when they have the technology to escape earth. Or maybe they have already escaped/died and the remnats are fighting over control of their lifestock.

A false flag staged event: Could be a hologram in the sky beamed from the satellites still intact in the orbit of earth; Projecting either Jesus christ or aliens crafts subduing The reptilians on the surface. And the human race will with great relief buy into anyone that saves them from these heinous events, only to be subjugated Into the NWO from another angle/approach.
Universe cycles from nothingness, the opposite of nothingness is everything. The opposite of nothingness is an orchestrated bliss of somethingness. And everything is a perfect assembled piece of majesty that must be perfect in existence otherwise its not the opposite of nothingness. The evolutionary path of every intelligent being is to bring perfection within everything orelse it's not everything. So the universe was not created in the specific favour for humans even though humans are conjugated to be guardians of everything so it does not get entangled and thus stopped in progress. But nothingness can not co-
-exist with somethingness otherwise it's not nothingness, thus nothingness can continue an eternity but only be intuitively obeserved from state of somethingness. And that we call
The big bang. And the end of this universe is the aesthetic evolutionary perfection and (nothingness)realising that the utimate being that it can reach is that of nothingness, Because everything stems from nothingness. There is silence then there is vibration (something) and then it goes back to its root/base (nothingness). What people who went of to near death experience have called the "dazzling darkness". And consciousness is its medium to gain information about somethingness to the point of total evolutionary perfection in which universe (living intellect) Contracts/implodes itself back to nothingness thus the whole history of events repeats itself. And intellects mission is to reproduce and care Because death as a species would mean the return to source (nothingness) and that can not be achieved before evolutionary climax in the realm of (somethingness) thus conciousness(nothingness) will be plunged into (something) in order to ultimately become nothingness in it's perfection again. Humanity will try to deter from this fact after becoming aware of it. But only to realise its part of the cycle of life. Everything is a smaller part of the whole. Matter can only be percieved through the decoding system.
Number 7 numerology.
Matter can only be percieved through the decoding system.

Definition of Perfection;
Realization,

and earth is a super memory storer which you can tap into and gain information from so you dont have to start from 0 again.
Nothingness;
Absence from light
--
light=consciousness=intellect=information=life.

Timetravel is impossible in the sense of you going back in time because the photons can not exceed the speed of light. But you do not have to exceed the speed of light in order to change to an alternate reality who is identical to that of the "past". You need the precise "code" in order to transferr your conciousness thru the modem (Earth) into another vibrational state of being.

I do so love-love this thread, You. Thank you for bringing it and maintaining it with integrity...heh, please don't be offended, but you are badass.

ohyeah

I also know - a knowing that goes beyond mere belief - that we're in a simulated reality. I have a slightly different perception, but that could just be semantics/word choice differences.

You see, even if - more iffy than not in my mind's eye - this simulation was designed and created to be a game, due to circumstances affecting the efficacy of the simulation (the "machine" itself)...well, this simulation, as it's limping along, just ain't no joke, and it is no longer a "game".

Just short of straight up belief, I do *think* as originally created the simulation could be entered and exited at will, not unlike one will log onto a game like WOW, play, and then log out.

But something happened to disable the simulator-machine. It wasn't quite destroyed, but disabled to the point of barely running...disabled to the point the players were unable to exit, and they/we became trapped.

hmm

I'll stop there for now, I'm curious to read your thoughts about what I've proposed, and your reasoning behind those thoughts, whether you agree with me or not (how you came to any conclusion regarding this). I just want to learn, and I don't need to be right.

One other thing to say about what I've in bold in your quote--

Although I had visceral (mystic) experiences that "eased" me into the realization of our reality, and although I began with an opened mind, it was indeed SHOCKING, the reality of our reality.

Once over the initial shock, however, there is a most fascinating and sobering process of awareness of self and environment that ensues.

At least we still have that "in here." I do believe this is what the simulation was created for, to be enabled to experience one's self in an alternative body and environment...as far as my visceral experiences brought me, the simulation as originally created could have very well been called "One"...purely a creation of no separation between body, consciousness, and environment. A "pure" experience.

Again, if that was intended to solely be for "gaming" purposes...well, I will, again be SHOCKED.

Thanks again for the thread! I've been thinking the past two days that right about now is a good time for me to go deep again...flower

Re: You are an Avatar in a Simulated Virtual Reality Role-Playing Game

 Quoting: Comperio

The "game" metaphor is really good, and underscores that we have a Quest, that we can change levels, that time is running both ways depending on viewpoint, that we can program the game ourselves, that the interface lies in using the fractal nature of events.

In a computational world everything is possible - if you can figure out the interface…..and it seems like that will be our Quest on the next level.

The "game" metaphor works, especially when you know through observation that we actually pick our human experience.

These examples come from my own personal exploration of the afterlife during out-of-body exploration specifically targeting the Entry Station, which is the locality where we enter into the Human Experience datastream.

In my observations, an awareness (ie us) go to this Entry Station and talk to a coordinator telling that entity that we want to have an Earth Life experience.

We have a list of options to choose from where we decide the vector in human history, the race, the personality traits, the challenges et all.

It is not identical but similar to a good RPG game where you design your character to play.

The Coordinator sets up the variables (what you chose to be) and you interface into the datastream which literally sucks you in like a fractal blender as I like to call it.

And poof, you start rendering your simulated human experience based on these constraints and the interactions they create within the datastream.

The larger system which acts like the server does all the heavy lifting on data interactions and the rest is us here playing the character enjoying our human experience while unaware because of the fact we are playing it at all because...

The system partitions our awareness at entry, so just a small fraction of that awareness is all that is needed to project into the datastream, cut off from it's original source.

It becomes the Daemon/Eidolon dyad as described by the Gnostics, or the Higher/lower self relationship.

I prefer, the Player/Character relationship to stay with the VR game model.

Again, this is based on personal experiences in my earlier explorations of trying to get back to basics with what I am as a participant in this simulated reality experience.

Sure if violates all the physical paradigm beliefs but it's always been this way once I remembered and it's better because we exist beyond this simulation big time.

Re: You are an Avatar in a Simulated Virtual Reality Role-Playing Game
Conciousness is not on our side, I would rather suffer non existance then to be plunged into a cochroach or a bacteria.

So when people say this is a game no its not it just IS.

Consciousness is just part of our reality interface, it is a tool of self-awareness. The self, the observer which you are is more fundamental than consciousness. Consciousness is the experience where as the self is the one having the experience.

The Earth Life System is a very evolved information system in that there is a huge array of experiences available to us, an astronomically vast information system. And one of many, many other astronomically vast experience systems.

How the self, using thought evolved such a feat is incredible. To exist even as a fraction of that self taking part in this unfolding dream once realized is truly amazing. What an accomplishment.

All the drama that you are speaking of, is really just drama. It's part of the story-filler to make the experiences what they are in terms of defining the context et al. It's all just part of the play and each of us are fulfilling our roles in that drama.

We rise and fall, learning and evolving along the way growing from the circumstances and follies within our experiences. In the end, I do believe we just create more and more content ie... reality.

Existence here for the self is outside time/space, it is absolute and eternal. No beginning, no end... all that is left is for us to evolve new content. Out with the old, in with the new as Robert A. Monroe cites in his books.

I do so love-love this thread, You. Thank you for bringing it and maintaining it with integrity...heh, please don't be offended, but you are badass.

I've spent a lot of time trying to get out of the miserable amnesia and fog that comes with entering into the system. Least I can do is share my point-of-view admist the long list of ideological theories and beliefs. At least mine comes from personal expeirences on roads less travelled. I stick to what I know and discard the local beliefs (this lifetime anyways).

Doesn't mean I am correct but at face value much of it really is part of a process of perhaps my graduation lifetime?

I just try to expose experiences in hopes others click with similar in their own sojourn into this crazy system.

 Quoting: cosmicgypsy

The truth is we are in this system for a very, very long time. Our experiences span many lifetimes and not all of them Human. We wouldn't be here if there wasn't any reward or benifit to us. The fact is, the wide diversity of experiences is what keeps us here for a long time.

But given the larger scale of absolutism, even here is very temporary in the big picture of an eternal, unending existence as awareness within all of these systems. What seems like forever is really always a blink of the eye.

The trapped part is what I call "Locked In" or being "Locked in". We commit to this game for entire lifetime(s), and we can unplug during it. That is what sleep and dreaming provides. This is why we can have out-of-body expeirences and go into alternative datastreams which yeild our dreams and OBE renderings.

So logout at sleep happens.

The trapped part however, until we graduate it seems to suggest. Even then I am not too sure, we may be at it... existence in many forms... for all enternity.

All part of keeping current with evolving new experiences as part of our eternal creative process.

It's more than just a game as we are evolving and learning thus even though we role-play effectively, it transforms and changes what we are. We gain from the experience.

So a learning expeirence using role-play to grow.

Keep in mind when addressing thought. Not all thought composing reality is coming from our waking conscious mind. It is a unified-feild of thought, a collective bandwidth composed of many other thoughtforms interacting.

I would say, our collective thoughts are creating reality, and by that I mean everything that is in existence as the unified feild of awareness.

The trickledown effect is that our waking conscious thoughts have very little impact on the system as a whole. Hence why we are constrained by the limits that this provides.

If it was just your waking conscious thoughts mandating the rule-set of this system it would just be another lucid dream like expeirence. We get to have that though when we sleep, so in effect we do get to play God during these types of dreams.

Here, it's a lot more interconnected thoughts forming reality. The collective hive-mind so to speak lol.

Still, thought collectively is creating this reality. Reality is a thought based information system. The grand Universal dream.
