breastfed, a little thin on top since late teens, much worse now, but not quite bald yet in early thirties

both brothers have full hair...50 + in years

Both sons have full head of hair...the youngest may go bald though, he has way way less hair than first son, but he always has had less hair.

I always thought it was related to frequent masturbation. I am 29 and I'm pretty bald. Never breastfed.

Same occurring in my older brother who never smoked but did a fair share of college partying.

I think it's a combination of things: genetics, sun exposure, hormones, exposure to modern electronics (increased wifi, 3g/4g waves, etc), we're both heavily into computers/programming so there's possibly a radiation factor.

Once you get over it, it's not really a big deal. My dad has a bald spot or two but that didn't happen till he was in his 50's.

My theory is based on soy based formula products. I have one brother born in 76 balding since mid twenties. I started to pay attention based on a comment my mother made about him and his friend and his generation in general, and she said all of them were bald or going bald. Then I started seeing a LOT of the same thing since I started observing. That's it, basically I'm curious about this is all. No Einstein here.

I'm 36 now, been bald since I shaved my hair off for a bet at 17. Just never grew back on top.
Gutted.

Did you ever shave your hair off like army guys do? skinhead style? Both of my brothers done that and their hair doesn't grow back properly giving them bald areas.

Stay away from hair products containing sulfates. Sulfates have been found to cause early baldness.
