It is a strange GLP event that happens all the time.
Some threads will be here for hours or days go unpined. All of the sudden a similar thread, some exactly the same information will get pined.
I have always wondered if it is just timing or if different mods, or maybe the information isn't thread worthy until it fits in, strange.
Also I have wondered why a thread that is seems to be of little attraction can remain pined for so long and others will be unpined after a short amount of time but will live on with many bumps and posts?
The other is the timing of unpineing a batch of threads after the 1st page is seemingly full of threads, all of the sudden poof, all gone or just a few pines left behind.
All of this is magic and deep under workings of the advanced cyber-psychological technical management that can only be coordinated and controlled by the mind of a mod.
Maybe there is just a computer model that is even beyond the mind of the mod that works like the stock exchange and values the interest of the viewers and automatically determines what is pined, who knows.
Or maybe they too look at the 25+ pines and get a little dizzy and assume that all others are feeling this way and release the visual burden a heavy laden page of pines.
It is a mystery and one that I will probably try to understand and never come to an exact conclusion.
Sigh...back to searching for doom.
