Police Departments Get MRAPs for only $2500 EACH!!!

The Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles (MRAP) were bought over the summer for $2,500 each by the Tulsa Police Department and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office. They were acquired through a government program that sells decommissioned military vehicles at a discounted price to law enforcement agencies.

I mean, I would buy a couple for shitzngiggle if they were that cheap! How can they be justified for being sold at such a discount? Purely as scrap metal, they've bound to be worth a lot more than that
