Usually people pull their license out of their wallet, they don't turn from the cop and go digging for it in their car seat.
I can understand how a cop in high alert mode could think he was going in his car to grab a gun.
Is the cop at fault in this scenario? Yeah, he was quick to judge but I feel the cop's action is within reason.

You had the FAKE bombing in Boston and you allowed the cops to treat you like you were living in Nazi Germany. "Papers please" indeed!
