Made me laugh so hard that:

$671m Cost of Nasa's Maven Mars mission
Nasa overpricing everything so they can fund their black ops projects like complete lying scumbags as to be expected.

MAVEN is designed to expand our understanding of Martian atmospheric loss using cutting edge technology, including the most powerful ultraviolet spectrograph ever sent to another planet, a small and efficient quadrupole mass spectrometer (only 8.8 kg in mass and pulling only 22.6 watts), and other specialized instruments. They're really apples and oranges. One is a Nokia 2600, the other is next year's Samsung Galaxy S6. [ link to www.quora.com] Hi Doctor....so is this like saying in laymen terms that the Iphone 6 is better than the 5 so if you have the 5 your in a wilderness of darkness you just need the 6 to finally be awakened? No, it's like saying that the NASA probe is more advanced and has more equipment on board to carry out more experiments, and therefore it's not surprisingly also more expensive. Just saying 'this probe is more expensive than that probe so clearly it's a waste of money' is stupid. Might as well mock a professional photographer for buying an expensive camera to use rather than just using the camera on his phone.
