Dallas is a city drunk on "art"

The Dallas Opera and Dallas Symphony Orchestra are really world class with a number of super wealthy "patrons"

And the Ballet is getting better.

This picture is of maestro--and out of his mind comes all the arts (symphony and ballet)

Nothing creepy AT ALL if you understand the relationship of art (particularly music) with Dallas

Lol. Dallas is drunk on corporate art. Which, I wouldn't even call art.

Dallas is textbook example of a city that is against actual art. That's why all the radio stations are Clearchannel owned and operated. Musicians that are first heard on local radio stations in Austin don't get heard on radio stations in Dallas until 1-2 years later when that smaller artist gets big and signs to a corporate label, or manages to get so high on the charts that radio stations would look stupid and out of touch with the music scene not playing them.

I grew up in Dallas. When I moved back to Dallas from Austin there were songs on the radio that were "new" to my friends that I was tired of hearing for the past 2 years. I told them these songs were old and they were like."What are you talking about? These songs just started getting played on the radio in the past couple months." Lol

Dallas is a fake ass poser town that likes to present itself as an art haven. In reality, it only presents and endorses art that supports corporations, though.
