without the Bible we'd still be living in barbarianism  Yeah. And with it, we are living in even more barbarism. Without the Bible (and the 1000 year Dark Age it helped cause), we might all be living in the Star Trek world. Yeah, I'm actually serious. The Dark Ages had more to do with health issues than the Bible. I thought you were somewhat educated? How did you miss the plague? The Dark Ages were well underway long before the plague was ever thought of. Catholic supression of knowledge and literacy kept the peasants poor, ignorant, and dependent. It was all done very much on purpose, to keep the Church in control. Check your history before you make remarks about my education, please.
