Well I am like this...I watch maybe 1 min per day of actual tv news. I spend 5 min glancing at newspaper headlines. and maybe half hr of my day checking out internet news sources, glp, alternative places, etc.
My key is I am aware. I don't let it fill my head or dominate my life in any way. But I keep an awareness of it.
The same way I have an awareness of the planetary weather events, etc, and know something is up with that too, but I don't think about it all the time.
This friend of mine has no awareness and has no interest. Yet he goes to a tanning salon daily and feels that has no impact on his health. And he is very pro-gun and thinks everyone should bear arms. He also thinks the sun shines out of Rush Limbaugh's arse and Ann Coulter's fanny.
