Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"

"man" of sin, isn't necessitating a single man.

"the son" has the same effect.

men of lawlessness...sons of perdition.

But, whatever.

Exactly.

man of lawlessness, man of sin, the beast, the antichrist.

Jesus said "When you see him standing in the holy place" -
so we can call this person any of the above names, and all would be appropriate.

Here is an outline why I believe antichrist is one man and not an idol (supporting verses to follow), and has yet to make an entrance. - see Dan 8 verses below.

Now - this "person" devours the entire earth - tramping it into pieces.
who has done this in the past? No one has ever controlled the entire earth.
This person is to be worshiped world wide by Everyone or be killed.
This person doesn't set up an idol (paul knows what an idol is and says "man" not idol)
He sets himself up to be God.
He is cruel, fierce and knows not the god's of his fathers
doesn't not have the desire of woman.
No one can make war with him - he is too powerful.
He comes up as the eleventh horn - after the 10 horns(kings), and subdues 3 of them.
He has the 10 kings take out the woman on the beast (mystery babylon) Rev. 17:16-18
His origins are of the revived roman empire of end times.
Jesus takes him out at armeggdon and the devil after the millenium - so 2 different critters.
The antichrists kingdom is the last earthly kingdom before Jesus returns.
According to Mathew 24, Daniel and Revelation he rules during the great tribulation.
After "he" stands in the temple he sends an army after the fleeing Jews who are protected
by God for 3 1/2 years in the mountains. Failing that, he goes after christians (5th seal Revelation).

Jesus says let no man deceive you in Mathew 24 and Revelation 6.
Paul starts out talking about this "man" saying let no man deceive you.
Paul says he will sit in the temple showing himself to be God.
Paul is an x-pharisee - he most certainly knows what a temple is.
Daniel tells us this person will obtain power by flattery and deceit.
So Jesus, Daniel, Paul agree it is a person who uses deception to gain power.
Daniel and Jesus both tell us it is an abomination of desolation, then Daniel
spends some time filling in the description of this abomination and one can
only conclude it is a man.

Daniel 8 says won't show up until we have ability to make war without touching the earth - i.e. drones, aircraft:

Was a time only chariots and horses used. note: *Alexander the great was not the first king of greece. If ISIS proceeds to overtake more countries - it could eventually conquer the land that was once medo-persia. *Links to follow in another post.

Daniel 8
5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

Daniel told vision is not going to happen until the end of time.

17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

Again Daniel is told vision will be at the end of time.

19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

After the large one horn is broken into four - out of one of them comes the antichrist

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Mathew 24

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Jesus is talking about a deception before he talks about him in the holy place

Paul takes time developing it being the scholor that he is

2 Thessalonians 2 King James Version (KJV)

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Daniel 7

23.....and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;

20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Daniel 10 note: Daniel 10, 11, 12 are all one vision

14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Daniel 12

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Isaiah 9:6

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah reinforces the fact that the world will be destroyed - the end of the world as Jesus says.

Isaiah 24 - 26

Isaiah 24

1. Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, He makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Verses 13 - 20: The Withering is the harbinger of a final calamitous end: YHWH will bring the last stroke which will be felt universally and there will be no escape. The pictures of the olive tree with all of its olives on the ground and none left to harvest and of all the grapes of the vineyard not only on the ground but crushed gives an image to total and sudden destruction. The reeling of the earth through space is coincident with its final moments.

21 And it shall happen in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the highest of those on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth languish.

Verses 3 and 4: A Protracted calamity. Intensifying Hebrew idioms are used in each of the descriptive events in these two verses not just in the words emptied and spoiled. The mourning, fading and languishing are also intensified in the text. Not only the earth itself but the "world" as the world system meaning the whole of human interaction in trade, travel, communication, arts, sciences and technology; all are to be brought to a withering before the end. It is the word "languish" or "wither" that carries the idea of the events being a protracted calamity and not an event of a moment of time.

5 The earth also is defiled through its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore has cursing devoured the earth, and they that dwell in it are at fault: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. 7 The new wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry hearted sigh. 8 The mirth of tabrets ceases, the noise of them that rejoice ends, the joy of the harp ceases. 9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. 10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, so that no man may come in. 11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. 12 Desolation is left in the city and the gate is struck with destruction.

Verses 5 - 12: The Withering is Due to Human Responsibility : The condition of the earth just before the end seems to be one or of exhaustion of resources. This certainly brings to mind the depletion of natural resources, the hole in the ozone and increase in withering effects of the sun through the inhabitants who have broken natural laws to their own cursing. In verse 5 "The earth is defiled by its inhabitants" and in verse 6 "they that dwell in it are at fault." The final destruction is to be brought by YHWH but the calamities leading up to the end of the earth are the responsibility of these living on the earth.

Revelation was about the fall of roman. It was considered a book of history until despensationalism gained popularity after the civil war. Though invented in England, it's a decidedly american only theological thought.

Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
A. Reading 2 Thes. 2 carefully tells us the order of End Times events. Verse 3 says that the Day of the Lord (Great Tribulation) can’t come until the Anti-Christ is revealed and verse 7 says the anti-Christ can’t be revealed until the restrainer (Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way. Paul also confirmed what the Lord said in Matt. 24:15-21 that the anti-Christ will officially reveal himself by standing in the temple declaring that he’s God.

In the Midst of the Sharia Law Invasion, Why Are Pastors Cowering In the Corner?

Caliphate Against American School Children
There are untold number of cases where we are witnessing the encroachment and then subsequent domination of the Christian faith by people of Muslim faith.

In Revere, MA., local parents are outraged that students are being taught about the five pillars of Islam in the local public schools A closer investigation reveals that this is not just a case of teaching comparative religious studies. The parents are upset because they feel that this is being taught as religion that is being elevated over all other religions. Where are the Christian men and women of courage and why are they not speaking out against this outrage and violation of their children’s civil liberties? Why are they not organizing their flock to take action against this invasion of their children’s minds?
In Texas and Tennessee as well as many other states, America are increasingly becoming outraged that their children are being taught the study of Islam with major portions of their textbooks being devoted to the subject. What most people don’t realize is that approximately 80% of the text books in question, history/social studies books, are fully funded by the Saudis free of charge to the schools. In one textbook, there were 36 pages devoted to the teachings of Islam and only a half a page devoted to the teaching of Christianity.

If GOD knows the past present and future, and there was a rapture there would be no purpose for your existence.

Heres something i dont want you to believe, i just want you to remember.

In Mathew, it says that all these events are the start of birth pains.

in revelations it says the whole earth will be mourning for the manifestation of GODs children.

GODs are not born in roses and flowers, they are born when all Hell breaks loose.

Another way of saying - no one will defeat Israel in end times.

Zephaniah 3:16 "In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: [and to] Israel, Let not thine hands be slack."

"In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, fear thou not": Do not be afraid of any enemies; neither outward ones, the armies of Gog and Magog, the Turk, who will threaten, and will attempt to dispossess them of their land, now returned to it.

Nor inward and spiritual enemies, sin, Satan, death, and hell, being all vanquished and subdued by Christ. This will be said, not by the enemies themselves, who will confess they have no power to stand before the mighty God, as Aben Ezra; but either by the prophets of the Lord, or by the people themselves.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64272306

Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."

As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride (Isa. 62:4), the Lord will exult over His people with gladness and song, resting in quiet ecstasy over His people in whom is all His delight (Deut. 30:9; Isaiah chapter 54).

Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62422711

Zephaniah 3:18 "I will gather [them that are] sorrowful for the solemn assembly, [who] are of thee, [to whom] the reproach of it [was] a burden."

“Them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly”: Unable to celebrate the appointed feasts (Exodus 23:14-17) while in exile, the godly remnant sorrowed. But the Lord will remove their sorrow, giving them praise and fame (verse 19).
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59562226

Zephaniah 3:19 "Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame."

This is speaking of Israel's restoration to their land. It, also, speaks of restoring her reputation as God's people in all the world. God will destroy the enemies of Israel, and all of God's people, including the church. This last destruction of the enemies of God, and His people, occurs just before Jerusalem is totally restored.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54753983

Zephaniah 3:20 "At that time will I bring you [again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD."

God will gather His people from all over the world, and bring them to Jerusalem. This is speaking of that great gathering in the end times, when all of God's people come home.

In the spiritual realm, this is speaking of all the believers in Christ. In the physical, this speaks of all the true Jews from all over the world coming home to Israel. God keeps His promises. "Saith the LORD" means there is no question about this happening. God said it, it will be.

Re: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present
Haggai is the next end time prophet I will be focusing on:

Haggai constantly referred to the “word of the LORD ” as the supreme authority. He willingly humbled himself that the Lord might be exalted. His message was practical. It was as simple and factual as 2 + 2 = 4. The prophecy of Haggai and the epistle of James have much in common. Both put the emphasis upon the daily grind. Action is spiritual; a “do nothing” attitude is wicked. Both placed this yardstick
down upon life. Work is the measure of life.
Haggai’s contemporary, Zechariah, was visionary and had his head in the clouds, but pragmatic Haggai had both feet on the ground. The man of action and the dreamer need to walk together.

Your almost 2000 years late with the warning OP.

As for Jesus' telling of when the time would come. "This generation will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34) The destruction of Jerusalem occurred within 40 years of him saying this.

There has been Famine:

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.) (Acts 11:28)

False Christs and false teachers

Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. (Acts 8: 9-11)

Persecution of Christians

On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. (Acts 8:1-3)

Wars and rumors of wars

Too many examples to list including when the Romans destroyed the Temple.
 Quoting: Zaphnath Paaneah

Sure - they have happened over time - but never has anything like the list on the first page happened ALL at exactly the same time.

Jesus said "When you SEE ALL these things"

That's what makes it different.

Not only that - why did Jesus use a field and a rooftop as examples we could SEE the antichrist from?

Because now we have the technology to see the antichrist defile the holy place - using our smartphones.

So - it really is different this time.

We have been in end for approximately 65 years.

Everyone must have expected it to just take place in a week or so.

Actually things have been building since 1948 when Israel became a nation again. This was a huge signal.

1948 was the beginning of the european common market that is now essentially the EU(revived roman empire western leg).

TV was just becoming popular.

The first computer program was run.

Since then slowly but surely things have been coming true to enable all prophecies to be fulfilled - even the smartphone has a place in end times.

We are pretty much now in the last days - according to Jesus.

Cause you can't drag a computer there - only a smartphone; otherwise how you gonna SEE him to flee if you are in Judea?

Jesus used examples to convey a message; same with parables.

Nah - technology wasn't advanced to the point many of the prophecies could be fulfilled.

Why people couldn't see this I don't know.

But - now we do have the ability for all to be fulfilled.

I still think we have some time to go because ALL have to see his judgement when he destroys Israel's enemies in gog magog war. Ezekiel 39:21

We will be a witness to this event, which in turn the heathen world finally comes to believe in a supreme God of the universe.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64502853

The reason I think we still have some time to go is Ezekiel 39:21 tells us ALL will SEE his judgements.

It means everyone on earth will have some device to watch the action going on in the gog magog war.

Maybe it will be a "watch" that has a screen on it - or everyone will have a gov't issued iphone :)

That way the antichrist can broadcast all propaganda, all the time, to the people anytime he wants.

Go through every prophecy in the list and see if everyone of them are not true or absolutely possible today.

If any are not true or possible today - then you can say BS.

But I dare say - all the things the Bible said will happen in ENDTIMES are happening or now well within reach i.e. NWO, mark of the beast, transmit image of beast to everyone etc.

Haggai 1:1-15 . HAGGAI CALLS THE PEOPLE TO CONSIDER THEIR WAYS IN NEGLECTING TO BUILD GOD'S HOUSE: THE EVIL OF THIS NEGLECT TO THEMSELVES: THE HONOR TO GOD OF ATTENDING TO IT: THE PEOPLE'S PENITENT OBEDIENCE UNDER ZERUBBABEL FOLLOWED BY GOD'S GRACIOUS ASSURANCE.

excerpt:

The Book of Haggai, second shortest in the Old Testament, has a potent message. It tells us to put first things first in our lives. It was written to people, like us, who would have told you that God must be first. They believed that; we believe that. But, they had drifted into a way of life where their intellectual belief in the supremacy of God was not reflected in the way they were living. They gave lip service to the priority of God, but in fact they lived with other priorities. God sent this prophet to help His people get their priorities in line with what they knew they should be.

The historical setting is the early chapters of Ezra (see Ezra 5:1). In 536 B.C., a remnant of about 50,000 Jews had returned from Babylon to Judah under the decree of Cyrus, King of Persia. They quickly rebuilt the altar and began offering sacrifices. Two years after returning, they had laid the foundation to rebuild the temple. Their Samaritan neighbors had offered to join in the work, but the Jews refused their offer. The Samaritans, in turn, threatened the workers and sent men to Persia to lobby against the Jews, bringing the work to a halt.

At least 14 years had passed. The people got caught up in the routine of life—farming, building houses, raising families, and that sort of thing. They got used to life without a temple. Even their leaders, Zerubbabel the governor and Joshua the high priest, had gotten used to things as they were. Into that scene, God raised up Haggai and (two months later) Zechariah to proclaim His message to this returned remnant.

The Book of Haggai consists of four precisely dated messages from the Lord. The first (1:1-15) was on the first day of the sixth month in the second year of Darius (1:1, August 29, 520 B.C.). The second (2:1-9) came on the 21st of the seventh month (2:1, October 17th). The third (2:10-19) and fourth (2:20-23) messages came on the same day, the 24th of the ninth month (2:10, 20; December 18th). To sum up the first message:
