This thread is over 4 years old now. Nevertheless, I think we are getting very close to the end times judgments.

I pray people repent of their sins, seek out God's voice and obey Him. This is the path to salvation!

I do not count what other call end times, they left out to much of the prophecies that speak of the times.

It is going to be an ending and a thousand years of peace, we have not had a time of calm and turn back no it not happened since the time of Jesus the Word and out lord. Now, you can claim it, but proving it is another one, it not just the US, it talking about the entire world.

On the other hand the fruit it ripe, down to rotten to the core. You can know this is different than any other time in history maybe more than before the flood, historically speaking. Now you think about the world of centuries in isolated areas were horrible and everywhere the went they spread their evil, what people do not get, is the outward evil is not the problem, it a double mind.

Micah laments there is no fruit worth eating - nor are there any good men on earth.

What's left after the harvest - will be thrown into the winepress of God's wrath.

Micah 7:1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

2 The good man is perished out of the earth

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Correction: Extra line - should be this:

There is no effort to remove their bodies:

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
 Quoting: b4its2l8

Meanwhile, as their bodies lay dead in the street - people around the world were rejoicing and sending gifts to one another:

Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another
 Quoting: b4its2l8

What we see here is the 'great falling away' - the apostasy:

APOSTASY is a definite falling away from the true faith, a turning to the teaching and practice of error, unrighteousness
 Quoting: b4its2l8

The falling away did happen - the beast came.

Now, nothing but pure wickedness exists:

2 Thess 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first
 Quoting: b4its2l8

Jude gives some insight into the apostasy that overtook Israel in his day.

From Vernon Mcgee notes and outlines on Jude 1:

The Holy Spirit detoured Jude from writing on some theme of the faith in order that he might sound a warning of the impending apostasy...

What was a cloud the size of a man’s hand in Jude’s day is now a storm of hurricane force that fills the land....

Dr Mcgee also made this comment:

We are in the apostasy of which he foretold.

It is a question now of how much worse it can become before genuine believers are taken out by the Rapture.

Jude gives the only record in the Scriptures of the contention over the body of Moses.

Also, only Jude gives the prophecy of Enoch.

Jude affords a fitting introduction to the Book of Revelation

One of those reasons is the first verse.

We see Jude is introduced as the brother of James.

It is stated in the bible that James is the 'brother of Jesus'.

Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James...

In this article it states unequivocally that Jude was the brother of Jesus.

For centuries people confused Jude with Judas Iscariot:

Why is St Jude Thaddeus confused with Judas Iscariot?

"people turned away from devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus for centuries because of confusion between him and Judas Iscariot "

In other words people were confused and unaware (ignorant) of the fact that St Jude Thaddeus (saint and apostle) was not Judas Iscariot (who betrayed Jesus). There is culpable and inculpable ignorance. I think it probably would have been inculpable ignorance....

The twelve apostles:

Some manuscripts of Matthew list Jude's name as Judas as in two of the 12 were named Judas, one Judas, the Zealot or son (or brother) of James, and the other one Judas the Iscariot:

Thaddeus: "Judas, son of James",
Judas Iscariot:

Church people love to tell each other, the Lord is coming anyday now, as they are NOT ready for the End Time. They haven't served the Lord, and therefore they just want to escape into LALA land via their church system and via their nationalistic pride which their church system entrenches in them.

Its just part and parcel of their dementia that they will never have to suffer, and they can go straight to the heavenlies.

They have no faith, and therefore love the false doctrine of Pre-mature climax, or PreTribulation Rapture. It tickles their souls with its self righteousness, and they love it. And they think it makes them holy because they are just looking up for the Saviour. They might be saved, but they are in terrible condition to do any good HERE on Earth.

Good comment Paul2

Its blatant and obvious and elementary prophecy that all Christians are suppose to know, but as can be seen, they prefer NOT to know because they are UNPREPARED and dont know what they are suppose to do in the HERE and NOW and dont know the basics of whats ahead or the timing.

Yes, the 3rd Temple has to be built, and it can't be built til the Covenant is signed, and the Covenant wont be absolutely needed because the Mid East War has not started yet.

The forces are now gathering, the excuses for invasion set, the major players aligned

US, I F. and B. versus R, S, L. C. and I

But its not the end just an escalating war that turns almost into a WW#3..

Thats the start of the Last 7 Years, (Oct.2 2018) the Covenant then gets signed, and then almost instantly the DAILY SACRIFICE starts for the building of the 3rd Temple (June 9, 2019) (2300 days til Day of Atonement 2025)

Then comes the real Nuclear War so often mentioned in Revelation and Daniel.... just before (six months) the start of the Great Tribulation when the AC enters the Temple, and says he is God.

Then the seven trumpets of destruction blown by the 2 Christian Witnesses, as the seventh is the Lords RETURN after and only AFTER, we Christians have either died, or been in the right place in the right time following the right leaders (2Witnesses) til the End. Some of us make it alive, til then, but most of us die trying and die witnessing and helping others via the LORD OF LORDS..Jesus

Buck up Christians in the church system and be prepared spiritually and physically and mentally. Atheists, agnostics and all others, get on the right team, and have the right leader (JESUS)

Agreed

There will be a 3rd temple:

2 Thess 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

More on Jude:

Jude has been called to continue what Jesus started:

1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

---

John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain
 Quoting: b4its2l8

Jude is not the same person as Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Our Lord
 Quoting: b4its2l8

For centuries people confused Jude with Judas Iscariot:

Why is St Jude Thaddeus confused with Judas Iscariot?

"people turned away from devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus for centuries because of confusion between him and Judas Iscariot "

In other words people were confused and unaware (ignorant) of the fact that St Jude Thaddeus (saint and apostle) was not Judas Iscariot (who betrayed Jesus). There is culpable and inculpable ignorance. I think it probably would have been inculpable ignorance....

Judas Iscariot:

Jude 1

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation

There is controversy who the fallen angels are...

And what habitation they left.

From this author we get:

Angels who did not keep their proper domain: There is some measure of controversy about the identity of these particular angels. We only have two places in the Bible where it speaks of angels sinning. First, there was the original rebellion of some angels against God (Isaiah 14:12-14, Revelation 12:4). Secondly, there was the sin of the sons of God described in Genesis 6:1-2.

i. Genesis 6:1-2 is a controversial passage all on its own. It says, Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. There is a significant debate as to if the sons of God are angelic beings, or just another way of saying “followers of God” among humans. Jude helps us answer this question.
