But who was Balaam? Jude 1:11....and perished in the gainsaying of Core. --- His sin was the denial of the authority of Moses as God's chosen spokesman, and intrusion into the priest's office. Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity... ---- When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord's love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you Completely shameless - they are like shepherds who ignore the welfare of their sheep - caring only about themselves... --- Jude 1:12 ...when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear He doesn't stop there: Jude 1:12 ...clouds they are without water, carried about of winds --- Clouds without water are useless; having no life-giving rain and only block out the sun |

It, Like Matthew 24, pretty much tells us what is going to take place in the last days. Here's an article with some of the details: Zechariah – The Apocalypse of the Old Testament Small excerpt: The book is particularly timely today as it focuses on the siege of Jerusalem by the collective Gentile powers on Planet Earth – a circumstance that is shaping up as you are reading this article! (It also seems to suggest the use of neutron bombs1 and gives us the only physical description of the Antichrist found in Scripture.2)... This most challenging little book is second only to Isaiah in its distinctiveness and importance as a Messianic prophet. Zechariah contains more Messianic prophecies than all of the other “Minor” prophets put together.3 The book focuses on the Day of YHWH, the return of Israel in unbelief, their passing through the Great Tribulation, and their deliverance by King Messiah. It also may hold the key to resolving the enigma of “Mystery Babylon” and its relation to literal Babylon in prophecy.4... [link to www.raptureforums.com (secure)] |

For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” A skeptic might ask, “Isn’t this perspective possible apart from a study of the specifics of prophecy?” And I agree, but it’s extremely difficult. Apart from a focus on God’s promises regarding our future, how does one maintain such an outlook in a world that never ceases to beg for our attention? I spend my work week studying and writing about our imminent hope and other matters of prophecy. Even with all that, this perspective does not come easily to me. Apart from our focus on Jesus’ promise return to take us back to His “Father’s house” in heaven (John 14:2-3), how do we maintain a proper balance between this life and eternity? I believe this is why Jesus commanded us to always “watch” and “be ready” for His return (Matt. 24:44; 25:13). He knew we needed to “watch” for His imminent return in order to remain mindful of it.... [link to www.raptureforums.com (secure)] |

Lawlessness would increase, and many that were righteous would fall away. Every one of the above have increased significantly.... |
