My employer is switching health plans from one we've had for at least 5 years.

Premiums tripled. So they shopped and found something that will keep it in the same ball park.

Get this - it's self insured (employer pays all expenses but insurer manages it) and employer has not paid any more in claims than average. It's all the managing expenses that have skyrocketed.
