She asked who authorized buying the hazmat suits, which cover a person’s feet, body and head. “I was trying to protect my employees,” said Guerrero, who said he has been unable to walk since he battled polio in 1996. “I lost my legs. Now I’m about to lose my job. What is going on?”" |

Also, if it really was a matter of not "get 'er done" in time, which is worse? Why would you NOT want a thorough cleaning to be done? |

Because getting those schools open and the per diem compensation the school gets for each kid's attendance is way more important than protecting lives. Same reason they send truant officers to your house, and maybe arrest you, if your kid gets sick too many times, for their liking, in a school year and stays home. You know, with the amount of trouble it took to get contractors to clean up TED's apt (didn't they have to call like 10 separate companies before they got a cleanup crew), you'd think they be a little more grateful that those poor guys would do the job at all. |

Yep, and even in hazmat suits, they're risking their lives. This stuff requires Biosafety Level 4 suits. Can you imagine the public relations nightmare that would ensue from spacesuit-clad janitors roaming the halls bleaching everybody's lockers? Now though the CDC has gone and you're telling me that nobody else has the right to protect themselves from the very same shit the bastards who created this fiasco are protecting themselves FROM? Sue the living fuck out of them while you can. While these evil SOBs still have money. |

Wouldn't OSHA or some agency mandate that respirators and protective clothing be worn working with a hazardous chemical like bleach? |

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)] On the day when the wagons come I just pray that you let me on Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV) 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. That’s the thing about progress; all the word means is “continued movement in the same direction.” If the direction was a bad idea to start with, or if it’s passed the point at which it still made sense, continuing to trudge blindly onward into the gathering dark may not be the best idea in the world. Break out of that mental straitjacket, and the range of possible futures broadens out immeasurably. John Michael Greer |
