To make sure I can enjoy them without them going bad, I wash on the outside with soapy water. I then slice each one into nice thin slices and place flat on a pan with parchment paper & place in the freezer until frozen. Once frozen I can place them into zip lock freezer bags & they won't stick together. I use them everyday in water, iced tea, smoothies, cooking etc. |
