Hey Naturyl! Good stuff.
I think Jesus and Ramana Maharshi would of been good friends. I think the teachings of Jesus were non-dualistic, nothing but peace, love, and harmony.
Of course this is apparent if you read the new testament in Aramaic. It has a completely different feel to it. People seem to forget that Jesus didn't speak fluent English from a western perspective.
Here is something for those to think about that quote scripture in English word for word:
Old Hebrew words tend to run into each other and are not divided like English. There is also a custom of leaving out vowels. A slight change will alter the significance of any sentence.
There were 47 translators of the King James version of the Bible. Only 3 of these were Hebrew scholars. 2 of them died before Psalms was translated. Also, any translation that disrupted current belief was discarded. It goes on and on.
So, I'm not even a Christian (well, in the widely-accepted meaning of the word), but I have taken the time to read the Bible in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. So from my perspective quoting scripture in English is absurd.
