I think I just mentioned that it was my son who reminded me of Florence Nightingalem universities, hospitals. All achievements of Christian churches.

The question is, why would anyone want to abandon this institution that has provided mankind with inspiration to achieve so much progress? It is bizarre.

The elimination of polygamy, modern nursing, modern universities, hospitals, orphanages, women's rights, abolition of slavery, civil rights, all these benefits came because these people were devout Christians!

And you think mankind would be so foolish as to throw away the catalyst of these major progressive movements?

I don't think so.

You want to toss aside that resume of achievement, then fine - do it.

But don't underestimate Christianity. It has great capacity for good. It has proven that.

Origins of great movement, great social progress - they came from devout Christians who received their inspiration from Jesus Christ, who came and died for the sins of man so that we could live abundantly.
