I jumped on very quickly and let the map load the week for the entire planet. Hovering over a few pins here and there and within 5 pins I found one in the UK that was an “activity alert” pin for plague.

Plague has not been completely eradicated from the planet, but I’m pretty sure it’s super rare and only occurs in 3rd world countries; certainly not the UK.

So I click on it and the headline pops up: “Black Plague Death Pit Dug Up in London – Smithsonian (blog)”.
