Methinks you're waiting for something which has already happened... The militant group Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers during clashes Wednesday across the border in southern Lebanon, prompting a swift reaction from Israel, which sent ground forces into its neighbor to look for them. Quoting: Enigma 113402The border is not just a physical boundry seperating soverign nation states. It is also a border between limited military adventurism and global war. I agree. Israel has been massing for days for the ground invasion. When those tanks start to roll, it's gonna be a whole new ballgame. As we stare into the abyss, I'm reminded of a comment some GLP'r made days ago. They wrote it might be best to have this all out now, rather than later when all parties might have nuclear weapons. There might be some twisted sense to that, that might be realized by the leaders of the area. Do ya get it on now with a conventional battle? Or 5 or 10 years from now, when the region could be turned into a nuclear wasteland? People say things are f#cked up here in the US, just look at those idiots over there! |
