I'm in Southeastern Virginia and we have a lot of military folks here, but ever since reading that 0bama is sending these good people to fight a VIRUS, my hair has been on fire. If I had a loved one being sent to Liberia, I would tell them, "Do whatever you have to do to get out of this, but DON'T GO." But I'm fairly well removed from this (no direct family in military). I'm wondering how these brave souls feel about being immersed in a land where the virus is so deadly (and so contagious). Are any of these military people balking or resisting? Or are they *that* confident that 0bama will protect them? Going to Liberia to "help with the epidemic" sounds like a death sentence to me. I'm really angry *and* sad that this is happening to our young people. Last Edited by Hope_Full on 10/11/2014 09:32 AM |

What I find so disconcerting is that it's the MEDICAL PEOPLE who are contracting Ebola. These people are following all manner of rigid protocols, and they're *still* getting sick.
The military is comprised of young people who probably don't have an in-depth background in medicine and procedures.
I'm very concerned that we are sending them on a death mission, and I am wondering if 0bama hates our military THAT much. :( |
