Running Windows 10 - Finally Left Win7 Behind
It's almost flawless so far...

Best of Win7 and Win8

Install steps:

0. Make an image of your existing hard drive and store on USB external drive (Just in case)
1. Make a new partition (you'll need at least a 100G)
2. Install a throw-away Win7 OS on the new partition
3. Download Technical Preview (Win 10) It's free!
4. Upgrade throw-away Win7 on new partition to Win10.
5. Patch up drivers from your computer manufacturer's site.
(use Win 8 or better yet Win 8.1 drivers)
Install all of your software.
6. You now have a dual boot system with your existing operating system and Win 10 available from the Windows Boot menu
7. On Boot Menu change preferred boot to Technical Preview and set timer to 5 seconds.

Probably best to wait for the GA version since the preview is just for checking it out. People should not stop using 7 or 8 until then.

Not to mention the "spyware" agreement you agree to when you install the preview.

I think it's actually an Alpha but it works so good (except for the usual driver mess)
