Hastings crash was his own fault alone. He lost control of his high speeding car after hitting the crown at the intersection of Highland and Melrose causing the car to go airborne momentarily. He thought he was immortal but found out all too late that he wasn't. That's all.

"we report, you decide," "see the facts and make up your own mind," etc. if people in power have been telling you something your entire life, you probably shouldn't trust it. psy-ops literally wouldn't exist if people weren't fundamentally, unconsciously malleable. if someone who was professionally trained to disseminate information in a way so as to manipulate public or private opinion and action suddenly shows up in front of a camera, you might at least want to entertain all the possibilities why this might be the case.

I'm saying literally any reaction to anything a man who calls himself psy-op says is immediately and irreversibly framed by that fact. which he (and/or anyone else responsible for his speaking) clearly knows, because he's fucking psy-ops. to simplify: if Joe Blow comes out and says "I'm psy-ops, and the sky is blue," the story is not that the sky is blue, but that psy-ops has said the sky is blue. the truth-value of the statement is completely irrelevant, because it is only being disseminated to serve a greater goal. so maybe what he says is true. maybe it isn't. either way, you are only hearing it as part of a bigger picture to manipulate you.

Of course the truth value is relevant, if by that you mean whether the statement is true or not. How can it not be relevant, if we're trying to determine the color of the sky?

Because he was involved in psyops in the past doesn't mean that this is a psyop. Certainly that possibility has to be examined closely, but do you deny it's possible someone who worked in psyops could decide to blow the whistle on what they were doing?

The question is if there is any evidence to back up what he says other than his word. Given his job responsibilities, one would think his accusation would be enough to warrant an investigation of his claims to see if they have any merit.

Having not followed this case I'm gathering that no official body took up the matter to investigate.
